Backup architecture
- The database — label-product matches, templates and current system data — is written automatically to cloud backup storage every three hours, and can be set more frequently where an operation needs it.
- Beyond the database, system working files and the application structure are backed up separately each night at 23:30. The aim is a rebuildable system, not just a recoverable file.
Security layers
- Backups are stored encrypted and access-controlled.
- The management panel accepts connections only from defined Tagnetik domains.
- Client-server traffic is encrypted to current TLS/SSL standards.
- Controls at domain, application and server level reduce the unauthorised-access surface.
- Protection and health monitoring run continuously as part of the operation.
Business continuity
- The three-hour backup interval bounds the data-loss window; a tighter figure is achievable by increasing frequency.
- The full-system backup is designed so a critical server failure can be rebuilt and reloaded quickly rather than from scratch.

Canadian Compliance
Radio equipment operated in Canada must be certified by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED) under the applicable RSS standards — certification issued for other markets does not carry over. We supply only ISED-certified access points and shelf labels into Canadian stores, and the certification documentation for your specific hardware is provided as part of the deployment pack. If you are replacing an existing ESL estate, we will confirm the certification position of the installed equipment before any migration work begins.
